Do you have the Visual Studio 2005 x86 redist?

Wow, this seems to be an ongoing issue.

I've got Win7 x64, same issue. I followed the directions in these bugs (439 & 255) related to the missing DLLs, but those versions (and any other I can find) only get me to this error code. So I downloaded and installed the redist you mentioned, and still got that same error code. Now I've started downloading VisualC++ 2010 and etc libs. I know I had this working once before on a Win7 x64 box, but I wasn't sold on it yet so I went back to XP for a bit where it worked fine.

What help do you need? A Win7 box with dev tools installed and ready to compile something? I can do that probably. Testing of said libs, yeah of course! Bug fixing? Maybe, not sure.
