Description
works fine with binaries and self compiled version 1.1
When i compile newest version form svn though no luck, just a black image when i switch to camera mode. I saw something in the readme about switching the camera input back to v4l instead for a newer OF feature. If I do that (comment out the pre-processor directive) teh program no longer compiles. I tried fixing a couple of the errors, but I just kept getting more of them. Anyone know what has changed form 1.1 to 1.2 in terms of video input on linux?
I've tried with a pretty stadanrd usb cam, and a firefly mv (both as firwire and routed to v4l using vloopback/coriander)

I can confirm this. I got a USB camera (Logitech Quickcam Messenger) that plays so nicely with Linux, but I can't get CCV to use it. I don't have enough experience with webcams in Linux to try to work around this either.
FYI: Using 64-bit Ubuntu 9.04 with CCV 1.2.

I can confirm it too.
As i'm working on a 64 bit version, the 32bit lin-bin download doesn't serve as a workaround. I've tried to get revision 164 (the earliest version committed for linux). But i see the same problem.
